Kaori Infinity Dress in Plum 1 5 1 1
Not Actually Convertible Not only was I not given instructions on how to wear this dress "infinite" ways, but the dress doesn't wear as it's supposed to. The instructions I found online say that it can be worn off-shoulder, one shouldered, as a skirt.... However, what I received was a long sleeved dress that looks oversized -- something to fit a size 34 instead of a 24. The neckline doesn't allow for a one shoulder wear without breaking stitches. I was afraid to try to wear it as a skirt because of the small neckline. The sleeves were meant to tie around the waist.... and it barely reached 3/4 of the way around my ribcage (I wear an 18/20 as a top, so I'm not stretching it). When trying to wear the dress as a halter, the front is meant to cowl while the sleeves become the neckline. There was no cowling. It looked like I tried to tie my sleeves around my neck. It's not a problem with Sonsi. It's a poorly made dress. It doesn't do what it's supposed to do. But hey... it's probably extremely comfortable, since it has no shape whatsoever and generally wears as a tee shirt. March 31, 2013
