These run small I have bought at least 4 pairs of boots from LaneBryant.com in the past few months, and this is the 2nd pair of "shoes" that have not fit. I do not understand why they run so small, being that the boots have all fit perfectly. It's not good. This will be the 2nd pair that I now have to return. I am very disappointed. December 13, 2012

Studded Moto Ankle Boot On the website, these ankle boots look incredible. I've been searching for a pair for the past couple of months and thought my boot shopping problems had been solved! I was wrong. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe size but I always order 9W when I get boots. 9W was too small! I should have ordered a 9 1/2 or 10. I could barely cram my feet into the boots. I almost twisted my ankle doing so. I thought they were going to be a bit roomier around the ankle but they are so tight I could barely zip up the side zippers. If you have chunkier calves, forget wearing these ankle boots with a skirt. They'll just cut off your leg in a bad area and make your calves look horrible. They will work with long jeans or trousers, perhaps even a long skirt. After I spent 2 weeks breaking them in, they finally feel pretty comfortable but they are a disappointment and I still need to continue my motor cycle ankle boot search to find what I'm looking for.
